Review
I think this might’ve been the funniest book I’ve read all year. I might be a little biased because I love T. Kingfisher’s writing. Stephen and Grace had such fun banter and their romance was very fun. This is definitely more of a romance read than a fantasy mystery like it seems. Stephen and Grace’s romance takes the forefront of this story. I personally didn’t mind that, however I do think the rest of the plot suffered because of it. The mysteries surrounding Grace and Stephen seemed so interesting, even the death of Stephen’s god seemed so interesting, and I really wish we had gotten to experience more of those topics instead of a few steamy scenes. Overall, I still enjoyed this book, and I will definitely be continuing the series.
