Review
Let’s get this out of the way: this is one of the top 5 books I’ve read all year. I absolutely loved it. Alix E. Harrow builds such a stark and beautiful world, all while painting a beautiful love story between two people centuries apart. Una and Owen are two souls trapped in a time loop of love and devastation. Somehow, not matter how many times time repeats itself, Harrow’s writing keeps each retelling fresh and moving forward. I can’t say enough about how beautiful that writing is. If you’re an audiobook listener, I would also highly recommend the audiobook, the narrators do an absolutely amazing job. I both listened to the audiobook and read the physical book. Both are stunning. This isn’t the more helpful review, but I just can’t recommend this book enough. If you are looking for yearning, this is the book for you.
